Ok, good to know. I came across a post where someone was encouraged to use it so I tried it out. I'll attach patches from now on, much easier.

Yes Thomas, it would be helpful to have something in NOTES. For what it's worth, I didn't even check NOTES, I'm conditioned to look for a README. I'll remember to look in NOTES next time as well.
