    fix 16-bit PNM raw format handling (sf.net bug #3475075)
    
    This commit fixes wpnm and rpnm so that they output
    raw format PNM data in network byte order (i.e., big
    endian order).  This fixes the 16bit pixel issues and
    is believed to close this bug.  Feedback welcome.
