I'll reply inline below. Just a note with current development, I'm
currently battling some code changes that were necessary for
modularizing the score layer system, but hopefully will make a
breakthrough tonight or tomorrow. After that will be creating a
pattern layer and then doing some bug fixes/small requests to wrap up

Please file a request for enhancement. For the interim, you can add a
code snippet to your code repository (Select text, right-click and
choose "Add to Code Repository"); after this it will be available from
the right-mouse click popup

This would be difficult I think. Right now I mostly use the
scroll-wheel shortcut (use ctrl- scroll to change layer height,
alt-scroll to change time zoom). This is a pretty fast user
interaction for me. I am in the middle of redoing a lot of the score
system at the moment, so any changes for resizing by pulling would
likely be very low priority compared to what's on my worklist.

Please add an RFE. This is a good idea, but ideally I will finally
move from the current textarea component I am using and move to the
one supported by Netbeans RCP, which has a much nicer code
completion/help system. Having the request in the system would be a
good reminder. :)

I took a look at this yesterday and saw that the code was not
implemented. I was doing some tests but JACK on OSX seems to crash
all apps that have some hook into sound when I ran csound with JACK.
After I get this big change done I will commit the JACK detection
changes and retest on Ubuntu.

This seems odd. It may be an issue that goes away when the textarea
is replaced? Not sure what I can do about this one at the moment.

Well, the design I had was that a working CSD is a full project unto
itself. Importing into an existing project assumes that a CSD might
be a fragment of a larger project. Therefore, blue was designed with
Import CSD as a full project. There are many complications if I tried
to implement importing into an existing project, as there are ftables,
notes, etc. that all would need renumbering. I think this one would
be too much to handle.

This seems easy enough; please file a request.

FJenie (essentially a Java version of FGenie) was open sourced a long
while ago. I have not had any time to integrate such code into blue.
I think tables as a whole require realtime change support too. I have
been contemplating a larger core design change to blue to support
realtime "machines" (ala buzz, tabletop
very interesting user interaction involved with realtime machines and
custom interfaces per machine, as well as signal routing. However,
having to integrate such a concept and approach and put it together
with a scoring system and blue's existing instrument/mixer system
requires some deeper thought. Also, realtime score modification and
handling of notes from blue rather than from csound to allow dynamic
note changes all seems to go together for me. This is a long
roundabout way of saying, it would be nice and I think it belongs with
a larger design change to blue.
