Keep in mind that we're using Linux kernel-style version numbers.
So versions 1.1.0, 1.1.1, etc. are all development (beta), while
version 1.2 will be another stable release.
The official string freeze will happen when we branch for 1.2.
Currently we're preparing for 1.1.1, and I'm guessing that there
will be at least 1 more 1.1 release before 1.2. So no, the
translator's job is not entirely finished.
However, we made lots and lots of changes since 1.1.0, which
affected many of the strings. After all, it's been 6 months
since the first translations were started. I don't think
that we're going to make nearly as many changes now, so the
next updates should be even less work.
Unfortunately translating is a moving target.
One of the main reasons why I'd like updated translations
for 1.1.1 is that this will be the first version that will
be very easy to translate on Windows and Mac OS. Version
1.1.0 had many bugs, and I think we scared away a lot of
people who never figured out how to use it in their language.
Version 1.1.1 will make it easy, so it's important that
the strings are correct!
