I would suggest not to underestimate the influence of wireless gadgets 
such as WiFi on the measuring itself, beyond certain Values you will for 
sure see you are modifying brain waves with the WiFi radiation. ;-(

And I dunno if you really want that?

I am working on it trying to transmit the signals through Zigbee protocol.
Hoping to get it finished in the start of next month.
The other side has a USB connection that you can interface to any software.

Hi,

it is probably quite easy to use a CHRONOS development system from TI
(costs around 50 USD).

It consists of a MSP430 microcontroller which is built in a watch with a
sub-GHz wireless connection to the PC. 

The dongle for the PC side is also included. It has a built-in ADC as
well. Therefore, with some additional electronics it could replace the
digital board of the modularEEG. The other obvious choice is a bluetooth
module. I think this has been discussed on the list before. The
advantage of bluetooth is the compatibility with many notebook computers
or smartphones. The disadvantage is the higher power usage of the
bluetooth protocol in comparison to the sub-GHz wireless links.

Hello,

I've got a working blue tooth connection on my custom OpenEEG system, 
I've used the BTM411 module and replaced the PIC with an FPGA (amongst 
other changes). The blue tooth device is set up under the serial port 
profile so appears to windows or android like any other serial port. 
I've not tested it with any other software as I've written my own in 
Java to process the signals, but it seems to work fine.

IRDA would be a good idea, no EMFs disturbing measurements! I mean we 
are an electromagnetic being! People have been fooled by industry as 
well as international bodies, did you know the same person who set up 
those EMF guidelines used almost everywhere, as he was head of a German 
private (industry sponsored) ICNIRP, was then head of the WHO EMF board 
and declared exactly this fraudulent limits (who only protect you from 
not being barbecued in a few minutes) as valid for the whole world!

dropped dramatically! Just as some (lost) study found in remote areas, 
the fewer doctors/etc. the more healthy and long living people are!

Isn't that the point of the reference electrode? since its receiving the same background noise as the electrode thats measuring minus the eeg signal, it then cancels out (so bluetooth, cellphones, computers, radio transmissions tv's etc have no effect on the reading)

The point is not so much that radiating devices might have an influence 
on the measuring devices, through cable/etc, which is also possible, but 
might be cancelled out as you describe. But the real point is that 
microwaves influence your brain waves, which I'd consider as pretty much 
annoying and not wanted, with or without measuring EEG.
