Hi,
I'm trying to build a qla2xxx-target enabled kernel unter Ubuntu 10.04.
I've checked out revison 4090 from svn.
To start with the problem first - the "enable qla2xxx target" option is
not showing up in the kernel configuration created with "make
menuconfig". I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong since I succeeded
to build an older SCST / QLA2xxx target release about a year ago (but I
forgot what I exactly did then).
What I've done so far:
1. Downloaded the kernel sources from the Ubuntu repositories. I've
tried the sources for 2.6.32 and 3.2.0, both with the same result.
2. Untarred them in /usr/src
3. Checked out SCST from svn
4. Applied the scst_exec_req_fifo patch for the appropriate kernel
5. Renamed the original
/usr/src/linux-source-{2.6.32|3.0.2}/drivers/scsi/qla2xxx directory
5. Created a symlink
"/usr/src/linux-source-{2.6.32|3.0.2}/drivers/scsi/qla2xxx", pointing to
"/usr/src/trunk/qla2x00t"
Did I forget anything in order to make the "enable qla2xxx target"
option show up in the "menuconfig" kernel configuration?
Greetings,
