No, you don't have to. You can write:
sysconf_syntax_DATA = syntax/*.jsf
But then, you have to take care of these files e.g. in cleanup Makefile
targets and so on. And this target won't work when you mix generated and
non-generated .jsf files (this will happen when you are compiling in
other directory then source directory). So enumerating all the files is
the best solution I know.
