I agree that this would speed up rendering of items when using the
"Next Unread" function and might motivate to use this function more often.
Still I'd like to avoid adding more background complexity for Liferea. One
reason being doing things an unsuspecting user doesn't expect. Another is
the simple fact that we have not enough development resources to maintain
such complexity :-(
BTW text for items is always pre-fetched, only images are loaded on demand.
