This works:
MIDI keyboard --> multimidicast --> LAN --> multimidicast --> jOrgan Keyboard element via
virtual patch cable device
This works:
jOrgan LAN extension --> LAN --> multimidicast --> sound module
This does not work:
MIDI keyboard --> multimidicast --> LAN --> jOrgan LAN extension to Keyboard element

Sven,
I tried to test jOrgan LAN input again, and again, no luck. On the remote computer I
started multimidicast with -in0 referencing the MIDI keyboard. On the jOrgan computer I
defined the Keyboard element's Input property as "jOrgan LAN 1". No input was detected.
Then I restarted multimidicast on the remote computer using -in1. Still no input detected
by jOrgan. Then I configured TWO LAN devices on the jOrgan side and tried alternately
-in0, -in1, and -in2 on the multimidicast side. Still no MIDI input detected at the
jOrgan Keyboard element.
If I start an instance of multimidicast on the jOrgan computer, the input across the LAN
from the remote computer is detected just fine. But in this situation I have to use
virtual MIDI patch cable device as the jOrgan Keyboard element Input property. I really
wanted to use the "jOrgan LAN" device directly...but it just doesn't want to get MIDI data
directly from the remote multimidicast sender.
Is there some special way the jOrgan LAN input device needs to be configured in order to
interface with multimidicast running on a remote computer?
jOrgan LAN output going to an instance of multimidicast on the remote computer works just
fine.
