Unfortunately, we cannot make new TightVNC Server support Windows
95/98/ME due to its completely new architecture incompatible with old
single-user systems.
As for file transfers, probably you could try to install new viewer from
the 2.0.x distribution into Windows 98 -- I'm not sure that will help,
but there is a chance.
New server will not ever support old file transfers because old file
transfers use protocol extensions with a number of serious flaws in
their design.
