First, as I allready said, I think it would make the window less
cluttered. But there's another reason: let's say I find a preset from
another user, called "wah clean/dist", and it looks like this:
As you can see, the only effect turned on is the MutroMojo, which is
set to "wahwah". But I suspect, given the name of the preset, that
the author intended it to be used with some distortion also. But which
did he meant to be turned on/off, distortion, valve or overdrive?
Instead, if one could choose which effects to show, I would see
something like this:
much clearer, IMHO.
Of course you're totally free to disagree with my idea, and I won't
regret it (not sure if that's how you say it in english...). These
really are minor things and I'm totally fine with how the app is.

Another idea that came to me: it would be good if somewhere there was
the possibility to write a short comment/description for each preset -
like "this is a fuzz sound, sounds best on bridge pickup. Also is great
with a bass"
