Backporting 1.4 to lenny would indeed be very useful. We haven't
discussed this yet, but it is possible, as munin 1.4 doesn't have any
dependencies that lenny cannot fulfill (as far as I know).

In any case we will have to wait until munin 1.4 moves from experimental
-> unstable -> testing before we can think about a backport, as we must
ensure the package is of good quality before backporting it.

However, if someone wants to build & package munin 1.4 on lenny, it is
possible to take the current source package and backport it manually.
But remember this is a new package that hasn't been tested yet (that's
why it's in debian experimental).

Yes. But it first has to reach squeeze (and unstable too :-)
