Unfortunately I don't have access to my Windows machine right now, but
I assumed that SBCL would try to locate my home directory where
(user-homedir-pathname) is pointing to:
(make-pathname :directory (pathname-directory (user-homedir-pathname)) :name ".sbclrc")

I assumed that the Windows version of SBCL knows nothing about cygwin.
I'm just using the cygwin bash shell to launch sbcl. The sbcl --core
argument is a string which points to the core file using a Windows
path. Using /cygdrive/c/...etc.. did not work.
When I get access to my windows machine I'll try to copy my .sbclrc
file into the Documents and Setting directory...
