I don't know about that directory, but I would rather not spend my time researching it. I would prefer to stay focused on getting Gramps 3.1.0 finished.

Yes, they are both important and there needs to be two until we have time to do more refactoring. Again, right now the focus should be on 3.1.0.

Why do you keep referring to "gramps32"? There is no "gramps32" branch. Only "gramps31" and "trunk".
If you are looking for something to do, it would be most helpful if you would test the "gramps31" branch every way you can think of. The more bugs we can find and fix before the release, the better the release will be.
