Hello Simon, with the current economic atmosphere I must say: congrats on the new job since employment must override all other concerns (even Pebble). This being said I am thanking you for the all-time best Blogging software: Pebble. And, I hope to see a lot of response from the Pebble community about your decision. Hi Simon,

I won't let you step back unpraised. A big "Thank You" for the effort of
writing, opensourcing and maintaining pebble up to this point and
keeping it in the great condition it's in. I still have little practical
experience with most of the code, but felt confident from early on that
- due to the architecture and code structure - it's quite easy to find
the interesting spot for any task at hand.

I'll count on your lurking promise, as I definitely will have some need
for discussions about how/where/if to realize several features (that I
currently blank - otherwise I'd ask right away).

With this, I'd like to wish you all the best. Thanks for your trust -
I'm honoured to take pebble further and hope that we all can meet the
expectations.

Simon,

I must also echo Olaf's praise for you and your Pebble software.  I have 
been using Pebble since July 2003 (at version 1.3 I think).  And I must 
say that i have always had positive experiences with Pebble.  It's solid 
software, easy to install and configure, and maintain.  And when I had 
problems, you are always very helpful on the mailing list and in blog 
comments.

Good luck with your new endeavor.  I believe Olaf and crew will keep 
Pebble healthy and growing for the future.

Wow, all of this from a weekend's worth of work?  Simon, whoever hired
you must be feeling pretty lucky!

Anyway, let yet another note of thanks be heard from me for this
revolutionary new approach to putting together an application which
might otherwise require complicated and sometimes expensive database
connections and other assorted entanglements to perform the same basic
functions.

Take care and I look forward to seeing what emerges from future
weekend projects!

You will be missed. Though I have contributed little recently to the  
discussions, I remain a loyal and avid Pebble fan. In fact, it is  
precisely because I am so happy with what you have developed and so  
seldom have any trouble with it that I have been so quiet. Thank you  
for the fabulous tool and thank you for your years of support for that  
tool. Best wishes in all that you do in you new job and beyond.

Thanks Simon for a great app, I've been amazed at its stability, power
and simplicity, the only problem I've ever had with pebble was caused
by a bug in acegi, apart from that, it's run flawlessly.
