Hi Fridger,
Actually, I've installed it twice now and both times there was updates. Last night I forced kernel updates too. This has a lot more to do with QT4 than kde 3.5.10 though. It may be because both kde3 and kde4 are installed. 11.1 also uses QT4.4.3. QT4 headers in usr/include account for the bulk of the errors.
I attached terminal output that had all the errors for celsplashscreen.moc.cpp but it may have only gone through to Pat. I recieved an email from sourceforge after I sent the email yesterday saying the attachment was too large and it was being cancelled.
There is a Celestia kde version 1.5.1 in openSuse 11.1. I've installed that and it works good. I can build QT4 and GTK versions. I'll just have to live with that for a while.
I still have 10.2 installed. I now got a triple boot system. Windows and 11.1 on my old IDE disk and 10.2 on my sata disk. I wonder if I put the repos for 11.1 or 11.0 into SMART on 10.2, I can upgrade 10.2 and get security updates that way. 10.2 was a good system. I'm sad that it is not officially supported anymore.

Steve,
in the course of the automatic 'smart' updates, I am meanwhile using a
much
more recent kde3 lib (3.5.10) with Suse 10.3. I don't have the slightest
problems...
Did you implement ALL SuSE 11.1 updates already!? Usually they are urgently
necessary....
