All the Lumix models we know are either capable of Mass Storage access
(like a USB stick), or PTP (support by libgphoto2).
So it will work, and with newer distros should even work without FDI editing.
Either the system can mount it directly without libgphoto2, or gphoto2 --auto-detect
will just detect it.
