I can not reproduce the problem. The following document works fine
with YAP if I put it and the image in the german equivalent of "my
documents" ("Eigene Dateien").
testeps.eps is a copy of tiger.eps which you can find on CTAN.
So if you want a better solution: Make a *complete* description of
your problem, including a minimal example and a list of all pathes
