Anyway, good news on the gentoo build. Bummer about the Darwin
build. I'm not familiar with Emacs.app. The EIEIO build has a pretty
custom byte-compile extension. If they messed with the byte compiler
that would certainly cause issues in EIEIO. I've never seen it kill
The lisp based build definitely can have issues if you have
accidentally loaded CEDET before doing the lisp build. That should
happen if you used the suggested command-line. If it makes it through
the byte-compile, try commenting out the eieio compile line in
cedet-build.el, then starting again. Alternately, copy your gentoo
build over. If they are the same Emacs base, it should work ok.
The last build seems mysterious. My Emacs/ CVS build is getting a
bit stale. I'll have to update this week and try it out.
