GeoTools, the Java GIS toolkit

Spending the day watching maven build, so perhaps I'm getting overly
interested in the spew...

Any reason to worry about the four SEVEREs in main?

Transaction.close() after using them to ensure they do not hold state
such as JDCB connections or file handles
