1410 is pretty old, especially for the verdex. Actually, 1410 for the
verdex would have come from Craig's branch, since the verdex stuff
wasn't merged into mainline until 1444.
I'd go with the latest version, and upgrade the image on your gumstix as well.
I'd also recommend that you start in a clean directory.
