The tk framework is not a user selectable module like the other "common
code modules". So, unless you explicitely set tk=0 in your private ini
file or pass it as an argument into mh, then the tk-based gui should appear.

Whether you use a screen or not isn't relevant. What needs to be known
is whether you explicitly disabled tk. If you have not, then please
temporarily add tk=0 to your ini file and see if the problem goes away.

I'll assume David will respond. But, in short, you are confusing
command line commands vs. the windows explorer addons that svn tortoise
provides. I would suggest perusing svn and tortoise docs/wiki as it
sounds like you have basic svn issues that aren't specific to mh.

So, all that you did was a restart (i.e., stop and then re-start mh)?
