front ends you're trying to build but the majority only seem to require C and
And for the record, gcc 4 is stable on well-tested platforms like Linux but
to say that it's stable on mingw is somewhat incorrect. Mingw/Cygwin have always
been second class citizens of the gcc world and it takes much longer for things
to stabilize there. The reason that there are no mingw packages of gcc4 is
because there are still outstanding issues, not because somebody is too lazy
to make a build and package it up as a binary.
