Just to save space and reduce clutter (improve readability): I was
guessing that these ids aren't referenced anywhere. (They certainly
aren't referenced from within the document, and I didn't notice any ill
effects in a quick test.)
If the objection is merely that inkscape allocates new ids for
elements without an id, then I don't think that's a sufficient
objection: a future inkscape version might avoid that practice (at least
as far as the user can tell) to reduce clutter & space usage in the
created document; but such a version would presumably still be required
to retain any existing id attributes, as they might be referenced from
outside of the document.
I can re-supply the defs & metadata ids if you think it's a problem.
