[ jEdit-users ] can save files with write permission (two-stage save disabled)

Hello, I have a strange behaviour when saving files. I have a file on a unix filesystem. The filesystem is "mounted" via samba to my pc. The file has only write permissions for my co-worker. I can open the file, change it and _store_ it with jEdit. After storing I am the owner of the file. I have definitely disabled two-stage save. If I enable two-stage save the inode of the file changes. But in the operation I described above the inode didn't change but only the owner. I tried to save this file with other editors. but they complain that they habe no access to the file. I have no idea what causes this behaviour. Any hints ? greetings -- hajo |
