we just didn't read the docs on how SuSE lays out the apache 2 config.
they put a big part of what typically belongs to httpd.conf in
/etc/sysconfig/apache2, in particular the list of modules to load and
what actually made me post to the list was that somebody else got
mod_webkit2 to work on a SuSE machine in my organisation, and all we did
was compare the /etc/apache2 directories, not finding any differences.
so it would not have been that complicated, if we had not fooled
ourselves into thinking apache-config-wise everything was taken care of.
