Currently SDCC 2.8.0 release date is not defined yet, as you can see at

releases are done once per year, so the next would be in the 1st half of
But the cmake release would be a good excuse to make it earlier. When
exactly do you plan to release cmake? What is the deadline for sdcc
release to be included in cmake?
