I presume you mean the evas library.
Stop me if I'm wrong, but evas appears to be a graphics library which can use either X11 or OpenGL for rendering. That's not exactly what I'm looking for. Evas is no different than SDL in that 2D SDL graphics can be rendered by software or OpenGL.
What I'm investigating is how difficult it would be to draw X11 graphics using OpenGL. I'm not looking for a library which can be used for X11 or OpenGL. The reason I'm doing this is I don't have direct access to the video card, but I do have access to accelerated OpenGL. Using accelerated OpenGL ought to be faster than software mode.
