Thanks. Would ucs-x.lisp be an acceptable name? (Unicode is not an
encoding, as I'm sure you know, and utf-8 support lives elsewhere as
well.) Generally, I saw that a fair bit of code refactoring /
maintenance work in sbcl consists of choosing good, expressive, non-
ambiguous naming; I try to do my part.
Anyway, I'll test-compile your patches this evening and then commit.
