Webware for Python

Ok....  When I logout, the AppServer stops responding.  Is there a way
to start the AppServer so that it doesn't depend on my login to continue
responding to requests..?  Or am I starting it alltogether wrong?

I've just been doing ./AppServer & as root, but as I said, that stops
responding once I close my ssh session..

Hmmm... That's odd that the links didn't work.  I'm not sure why, it
looks like the AppServer stopped responding...?

I would not automatically assume that the PSP pages your client wants to

run were for Webware/WebKit. There are actually quite a few completely=20
unrelated efforts out there to implement some kind of PSP style=20
solution. This could be your problem.

Sorry for the dumb question, I just looked over the install docs again
and found the webkit init.d script...  I'm getting that configured and
going now :)

This isn't going to work... when you close your ssh session, everything 
associated with it dies too.

You should run Webware as a daemon. Try the monit package. I like it a 
lot more than Daemontools (which I used to use).

Hi all,

What format is the connect string for MySQLdb?  It doesn't even appear to 
accept a connect string as far as I can tell it thinks I'm passing in the 
host name when I try.  I'm using DBPool which as far as I know only uses 
connect strings, not individual parameters.

Doh, nevermind, it was my subclass of DBPool that expects a connect string, I 
now see that DBPool will accept keyword args, sorry for the spam :)
