Webmin

Hi,

I have a number of servers that are running Domino.  Their is nothing
special to do.  All mu unix reports and logs are mailed thru the standard
process and Domino just handles the mail without any special changes.

I guess what is needed is an option for the module to send mail via a
separate SMTP server, instead of /usr/bin/sendmail program. I'll add this
to the next release, on the Module Config page.

Hi there,

Thanks for the many responses. It worked out.

I had to de-install postfix (my favorite MTA) and replaced it by
sendmail. After putting the write smart host name in /etc/sendmail.cf
I did receive the first messages about the filesystem backup.

After reading the results, I came to the conclusion that a backup of "/"
does not mean that my whole system was being backupped ! Just only the
"/" partition on /dev/sda1.

What can I do when I want to backup all partitions in one turn???
(I don't want to switch tapes in the middle of the night)

Because the dump command (which the module uses) operates at the filesystem level,
it will only backup one filesystem at a time.

I don't think there is any way - the dump command always writes from the
start of the tape, and only does one filesystem at a time :(
