Jython

Does anyone know a reference to using Jython to write applets such that 
they have the security needed to access the local filesystem and open 
network connections (ingoing and outgoing) without limits? I realize the 
user will probably have to allow this but is there anything else I need 
to do? I'm more of a Python programmer than a Java programmer and am not 
quite sure on the steps needed. Thanks.
