Yes, a dead end for the brand name "voodoo" of course, but if NVidia is
really USING the "dead" technology for future products, it's not so dead
as you mention ;-)... otherwise buying a technology wouldn't make much
sense (other than kicking a competitor out of business, which probably
was THE reason for their aquisition).
Not giving Voodoo users what they need to complete their drivers does
not enforce them to buy an NVidia card... and I think this should be
made clear to NVidia. They could get some reward back from us, if they
would at least open the specs for these "legacy" products.
I really would like to contact them (NV) and try my best to get the
specs. I know that this might be ignored, but I'd like to try it at
least. Does anybody know a good address to contact them ? Writing to one
of those "generic" e-mail addresses will surely end in a "lost case"

Ah, that's the code HE did ?
But how about Glide 3 DRI ? If I understood Daryll correctly, Glide
would have to be modified as well...
