2 minute guide:
Patches are generated against the CVS version, so you must start by doing w=
is described on this page: http://www.lirc.org/cvs.html
You would then patch this downloaded version before your start the 'Compile=
steps outlined halfway through that page. You do this by issuing for exampl=
patch < atiusb26.patch
from the newly created lirc directory. If patch does not give any strange=20
error messages, you can proceed with the compile steps.
Please remember that the CVS version not always will be the best for everyo=
and that there is a fair chance that it might be just broken, because of th=
frequent changes and updates.
