[Pyobjc-dev] I found some errors in the Documentation

This error is in the Apple documentation found here... http://developer.apple.com/cocoa/pyobjc.html It said... after installing 1.3.7 to OS-X 10.4, it claims there is a Python folder in the Development folder. In my update to X-Code 2.4.1 it doesn't HAVE a "Python" folder in mine. I figured the pyObjC install would add it, it didn't. Using Spotlight, I found where the installer put them, but I think this should be explained in the docs, because it took me days to figure it out. I eventually got it to work, but ONLY after finding a Gotcha that after I created a new X-Code project, I found I needed to Project --> New Executeable menu and set that up. Of course it didn't explain I had to pick the running application in Build/Development/myApp Anyway, if anyone has any ties to Apple, perhaps that should be brought to their attention. Regards John |
