Ok, I am still having problems with this? Is anyone successfully using
POP before SMTP with ASSP?
pop-before-smtp is written in perl and should use similar stuff to
create and populate the hash db as assp uses to extract and read info
from the hash db.
I know the hash db is good. I dumped it's contents via db4.1_dump
pop-before-smtp.db and can see the ip address exist. Now why ASSP is
totally ignoring it is beyond me. But I really need to resolve it ASAP.
No pun intended.
Now this is the line from my assp.cfg. Not sure if I need to use file:
or not? Tried both ways, does not seem to make a diff?
The file is pop-before-smtp.db, but I believe ASSP tags on the .db part?
Also I am not sure if I need to still use a relayhost file or specify
relay hosts? If that is conflicting with the pop before smtp stuff?
Really not sure what's going on. Any help or assistance is greatly
