Hi Marcus,
Oops! Sorry about that. I went to repeat the experiment and of course,
this time the "gphoto2 -l" command stubbornly worked every time I used
it (but the camera initialization step still took several minutes)
However, when I went to retrieve the pictures from the camera, the
"gphoto2 -P" still failed. I have attached a log for each case ( I
think :-) ) Let me know if you need anything else.
