The majority of the people that call their unit "SporTrak" (which is the
model you have)
actually have one of the SporTrak Map products. The distinction matters in
like this, so thanx for clarifying.
This unit never was very popular and it's been discontinued for a while.
Unluckily for you, it
appears to have a firmware bug. Magellan's route protocol sticks out like
a sore thumb in their spec - it's by far the most oddly described sentence
in their hardware.

The Magellan protocol spec says this:
The character fields consist of a waypoint name followed by Icon information
in lower case. The Icon information applies to the waypoint name
immediately to it's left.
So this subset of your route consists of two points: WP01 with an icon of
"WP02" and WP03 with an icon of "WP04". Obviously, this was not your intent.
I've just special cased our Magellan reader to look for your model number
and try to deal with this bit of silliness as your odds of getting Magellan
to fix it are surely zero.
As a workaround until the next release, you could try doubling up your
routepoints since every other one will be eaten.
