Linux Infrared Remote Control

I have simplified the code at two places and committed it to cvs. Please  
check if it still works.

As soon as sourceforges anon cvs server catches up (I thought they had 
that stuff all sorted out.)

Finally CVS synced up and I was able to check out the simplified code. 
It works just like the initial code so all is good..

Can't get the remote to repeat so I dunno whats going on there.

Probably the repeat_flag variable is not set correctly. This will  
require some debugging.
