I'm still trying, unsuccessfully, to get Jython JSPs to work in WebSphere.
This is running fine in Orion, but in WebSphere 4.0 I get:
java.lang.String: method split(Ljava/lang/String;)[Ljava/lang/String; not
java.lang.Exception: java.lang.String: method
split(Ljava/lang/String;)[Ljava/lang/String; not found
The generated file _validate_5F_logon_jsp_0.java is attached, but doesn't
yield any clues that are any help to me.
Since "split" is defined on Strings in Java version 1.4 but not 1.3 I'm
guessing that my problem is related to that somehow. I had originally
installed Jython with Sun's 1.4 JVM, but have since installed it with the
1.3 JVM that IBM ships with WebSphere.
Anyone have any luck running Jython 2.1 with IBM's 1.3 JVM? Any luck
embedding Jython in JSPs on WebSphere?
