Normally I have a quite good crystall ball, but it has its limitation=

remember that providing a minimal example always helps. And you don't=
say=20
which Linux/LaTeX setup you are using. It could be tetex 1.0.7 or 2.0=
.2 or=20
whatever.
As Philip suggests you probably have different versions of the packag=
es.=20
Adding \listfiles before \documentclass will cause LaTeX to list the=
=20
version information of all used packages at the end of your logfile. =
That=20
makes it easier to compare.
