True haven't spoke to ken for a long time now.
Since the new management closed various ports on their
company, kenneth was not available through msn either,
so i hope we'll see him back soon here.

I have sent a couple of e-mails, with updated source for the Web5250 
application to him, but that was before Christmas and I haven't heard a 
thing

September was the last *real* activity I can remember him responding 
to.  Nothing since.

Hope everything is OK with him.

Hello all

Have not been around lately and would like to apologize for that.  One=20
of the clients I have changed access policies due to the external=20
auditors who says that no external access is allowed.  So actually was=20
cut off.  Had a huge project to finish at another client but was not=20
as400 based so actually have not had access to an as400 for a couple of=20
months now.  Been back and forth to the US a couple of times getting=20
some business worked out as well.  Just got back yesterday from England=20
and hopefully starting up with the other client with as400 access again=20
next week or the week after.

Actually while I was out Steve Kennedy updated CVS with fixes to the SSL=20
modules that I broke while ripping out all the modules.

If you guys write me or to the list I hope we can start this back up. =20
Have not looked at the code for a long while but am sure with you guys=20
help out there we can get things rolling again.

Does anybody have any changes they would like to discuss?  Please post=20
them to myself or to the list.

One thing I would like do is get the SSL working with the new boxes=20
again.  I have tried to use this against a V5R2 box and it did not=20
connect although client access did.  Are they using some other SSL=20
interface that we do not support?

Well anyway let's get this development rolling again.  Post your=20
enhancements that you would like to see or heck post some code of=20
problems you have found and I will make sure they are in.

Hell just post to say hello :-)

Has anybody tested the last changes to the web5250 interface?

Pete was working on getting key presses to work correctly in IE.

Any testers out there willing to give a little time for this?

Unfortunately this is not the case because the web interface uses the tn5250j
engine underneath.  This means it will be interactive.

I have not seen any specs for how batch works but would really like to know. 
One conversation on here, IIRC, was that the specs for batch were for their
affiliated customers only and not the public.  Not sure if that is correct though.

Really sorry about that.  I do not use those abbreviations on this list and it
took me a long time to be able to read some other lists when it was full of
these.  Have Googled quite a few of them and do not use them very often myself.

IIRC is If I Remember Correctly.
