Hi, 
 I would like to know how to execute the iometer under an CIFS environment. I have a server and this server will be accessed via CIFS(windows client). I need to do stress, performance, load tests on the server via the windows client. Could you pls clarify whether using the iometer can I do any of the above tests on the server via the CIFS client. Appreciate your support.

Hi all,

I just interested if anyone has been successful in running IOmeter and
dynamo between a windows and Fedora Core 2 machine respectively. I can
get both up and talking but I have these issues: Dynamo reports "Fail to
open kstat device file" and IOmeter reports "SetItemState() failed in
CPageDisk::SetSelectionCheck()"=20

and "Unexpected disk type in Cpage::ShowTargets()". Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
