I seem to remember some problems building with the cygwin libraries, using g++,
so you suggested that I build without ffi for now. The problem is similar to
Yadin posted to the clisp list, my build sig11's loading format.lisp. A few
it sig11'd loading compiler.lisp, so somewhere there is a problem.
In fact, the last build that worked on cygwin was on 11-15-2002.
