I assume this in order to use cedet-1.0pre7 instead of earlier
versions?  I actually tried patching like this yesterday and while it
made the error go away the classes menu did not function as it does
when using cedet-1.0pre6, so something else seems to be needed.

yeah, i was just fixing the error. didn't even see which menu was
actually affected, or notice a difference.

Hi.
I have applied this patch and it works. At least TAGS menu is filled
with values from current file.
I use jdee from trunk and cedet from cvs in emacs 23.

Indeed, I had a typo in the version that I tried.  I've fixed this in
the trunk (and for now have kept backward compatibility with the
1.0pre6 and earlier versions of cedet).
