Fellow SemWiki developers,
I'm interested in configuring a wiki so that it links to a Form entry instead of the traditional blank canvas when a new page is selected on certain links. I am running into a problem where users are creating new pages with properties that should be of a particular category (according to the Form, property definition, and ontology).
Here's the situation:
User creates a new page using a particular form - let's call it Form:Person, and the new Page is "Fred Smith". The Person form (and template) has fields for parents, which are also obviously persons. In the form, the field for Mother and Father both autocomplete on Category:Person, but in this case, Fred Smith's parents aren't in the wiki yet. The properties for mother and father are of type:Page. So the user types Fred's parents in (let's call them Bob Smith and Mary Jones Smith), and then saves the page. Now the user sees the red link for Bob Smith, so he clicks it, expecting another Person form to pop up. Instead, the raw wikitext editor appears.
Are there any extensions or ways to configure the form and/or template so that it would link to the Form page instead? If not, I would like to suggest this as an enhancement.
