Not at the moment, unfortunately. I wrote a script for autogenerating
sets of .in files, which I used for some parametric studies in my
thesis but which I'd like to use for regression testing the libMesh
examples as well. There just hasn't been time to set that up yet.
If you'd like to get the VTKIO class in on that, we just need to make
the output format specified in a .in file for one or more of our
examples. Patches would be welcome.
We also ought to make our output formats easier to select at runtime
in general. There's no way to call write_equation_systems with output
format selected based on filename, the way a Mesh write can be? I've
currently got a GMV/Tecplot switch statement in my own applications,
but it seems like that sort of thing ought to cover all our output
formats and ought to be in the library itself.
