Thanks Sean and Rohit for your help! I realize, though, I should have been
more specific in my original email. I'm using the wpa_supplicant
instructions here http://docwiki.gumstix.org/WPA_for_wifistix to try to get
my gumstix to connect with my office's network that uses WPA/WPA2. On top
of udhcpc printing out 'm' upon booting, I accidentally entered in the
command 'ifup eth0' and got:
# ifup eth0
udhcpc (v0.9.9-pre) started
m
Where as if I type in ifup mwlan0 (as I meant to) I get:
# ifup mwlan0
udhcpc (v0.9.9-pre) started
Nothing to flush.
No random printing out 'm'. Anyway, if anyone can figure out why it's
printing out 'm' or another way for me to set up the gumstix to connect with
the network (since I'm still rather new to Linux) that would be so so
appreciated. Thanks!
