In the mingw page it's said that gdb is part of the the
distribution (in the old faq the same is said). I just
install the 1.1 but could not find it. Where is it?
It's not. You need to look at some of the mingw
package sites and you'll locate an old copy.
There is even a version that has the Cygwin Insight
(source level debugger) as part of the package!
