Hi,
I run the config as per the subject line. This is from around the time I
did the lirc_serial timing changes.
Every now and then, out of the blue lircd starts syslogging non stop:
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: select() failed
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: Invalid argument
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: select() failed
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: Invalid argument
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: select() failed
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: Invalid argument
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: select() failed
Apr 9 10:07:43 tim lircd-0.6.4-CVS[8031]: Invalid argument
etc etc etc.
I usually notice once /var is full. Stopping and restarting lircd (and
cleaning up /var) solves the problem.
I depend on lirc to switch receiver channels for recording - so this
problem is a nuisance as I capture the wrong channels.
I can't figure out what triggers the trouble - any ideas or suggestions?
Regards,
Steve Davies
